Too low and bulky. Probably as good off road as a Expedition.

The yellow made me go blind!!

It's got a lot of bling, but it can't have much articulation or ground clearance. I seriously doubt it sees anything more technical than the occasional torn up dirt area in the mall parking lot.

It has IFS and IRS.

Don't give me the "Oh, so do Hummers and they rule." Hummer IFS and IRS is a lot different.

Yet another pavement pounder.

The extended cab Titan's look like a decent DD that could tow pretty well, but I am not impressed by the Armada.

I think it would perform amazingly for what 95% off 4x4 owners consider to be offroad driving.

I know people that think a dirt, washboarded road with loose gravel as off roading.

That Armada, along with the TroyLeeDesigns Armada and about 3-4 others were made for SEMA. They are bling-trucks for show and advertising.

You can probably still see all of them at nissanusa.com in the news area.

It is set up for show but still has a 6inch lift, all the Titan/Armadas set up for sema had 6-9 inch lifts, never thought a fullsize was best to offroad in

i bet with a traction device, which may very well be a future option on those as the titan is coming with a rear e-locker and they use the same rear diff, just one is solid and the other is indepedent, that could be a very capable off roader limited by it's size more than anything else. if i remember correctly those are 20" wheels and i think those tires measured out to over 35" so it will have lots of clearance under the belly. but it is still a full size SUV.

If I was looking for a full size suv for the family, that would probably be the best choice for the money. I hear it will come with a tow/e-locker package.

If i were to get a full size SUV, i'd look either at the Armada or the Sequoia. The only thing i dont like about the exterior styling on the armada is that goofy bulge at the top of the front windows. Make it straight and it makes it look more symmetrical.

Who knows if it goes well on off-road. But at least we probably all can assume that it'll beat a Ford Exploder!

they actually had a silver one on 22's at my local nissan dealership and i think it looked awesome, the wheels weren't ghetto, they were tasteful and BIG they had some mad wide tires on it and it filled out the huge wheel wells nicely. for a boulevard cruiser, which is what 99% of them will be i would definitely take it, 0-60 in 7 flat ain't too shabby.

I'll pass.

For some reason, I think the yellow beadlocks were photochopped in there.

The beadlocks are for sale by Axis - they're not real, they just have a little metal piece bolted on to the wheel for that 'rugged look' :pat:

(sorta on topic) Just because my friend has one and wants me to take him offroading, how is a chevy tahoe off the pavement? He has i think a 2002 4x4....

It would really depend on how much you want to tow;the Sequoia has a rating of only 6500lbs while the Armada even trumps the Tahoe and the Expedition with a tow rating of 9000lbs which you gotta give props to Nissan for.
