Newbe says hi

Hello, i am new to yotatech moved from another forum that had lots of info about newer 4runners (not really helpful to me) i have attached some pics of my rig.
i got my runner about 9 months ago as a birthday/graduation/eagle present. My neighbor suggested to my parents to look at 1st gens because of the SFA, but my parents who know nothing about 4wheeling (but then nether do i) found my 88 runner . Guy was selling for 2,800 we paid 2,500 with rebuilt 22re with 15,000 miles, new manual transmission, new brakes, tires with 70% tread, new battery, alternator, and much of the electrical system was replaced mostly lots and lots of new wires, relays. odometer has 205,000. Best present ever!!!
The things i need to fix, or have fixed: rear window didn't roll down need new driver seat and pass seat, needed new clutch master cylinder, needed new tps and o2 sensor.
I have noticed some things that i would like to do first, after removing running boards girlfriend complains about needing to "jump" into cab, maybe some sliders you could stand on. I would like to bedliner the rear flooring. Replace tires with 31's or 32's
Mods i have already done: power inverted hard wired in and outlet hardwired into center console, Yakima rack, new cover for center console, cd player and speakers.

Sorry this is so long just kind of excited.

Welcome to Yotatech. That is one clean looking 88. No rust at all? Aren't those tires 31's. I say this because those rims where only available with the 31 inch tires unless they were put on later of course. Be ready to open your wallet.

man, your truck is in great shape, I wish my interior looked that good, but I kinda like having no carpet, its not so bad. What happened to the top section of your center console? welcome to the board.

Don't know what happed to the top section of the center console, it was gone when i bought it. I actully like the vinal flooring (hoseable) and when my mom saw that it has vinal floors she was pretty impressed they are 30in tires, but i never knew that the rims only came with 31's good stuff that might make sence because the truck came with some new tire chanes for a size bigger than the 30's so i can't use them.

I agree any suggestions? it is mounted in the location that there would have been rear air so i didn't have to cut, just pop out a piece. But i did have to screw two holes. Maybe at the least i should paint it? or can you think of a diffrent style outlet?

i agree the gap between the switch plate is tacky, i'll take a pic tomorrow of the switch that turns on and off the inverter, much more manly looking

Good idea with the PEWTER cover!!

Yeah I already know about the bank account, I never thought I would suck it all the ways down to .32 cense. Thanks for the slider suggestion, but I don't own a welder so unless they would like to come up here and weld those on for me... because that would be great Oddly enough my dad has owned a chain of welding supply stores almost all my life (just sold the company a few years ago) and yet we have never had a welder. Man I would really like one though, you should see the clever bolt and drill work I had to do to get my rear bumper on . I attached a pic of the other switch to turn the power inverter on and off.
