A new waxing buffer

Just got a new Meguiar's catalog in the mail.
As you know, they carry the Porter Cable buffer, but sell it for twice what you can buy it for localy in a hardware store.

They are coming out with a 12v one.
I don't know all the details on it if it's going to be random orbit like the Porter Cable or not, but it looks to be pretty cool for $100.

I'm sure Porter Cable, or some other outfit is making it for them, and they slap their name on it, just like they do with the Porter Cable 7336 unit I have.

Here is a pic I just scanned.

This would be cool say if you washed your rig at your place, then headed down to the beach or some place for the day and wanted to clay it, then apply wax afterwards.

Says it goes for 1.5 hours per battery, and they include two.
I would get one of these just to be able to do the rig elsewhere without having power.
I'm pretty sure it's not random orbit though.
I'm really surprised they are not asking a lot more for it to.

That is really sweet. I like the grip style...almost pistol grip. Makes it alot easier to handle and hold. That is pretty sweet and a great price too. You know Corey, you are going to have to put that to use and I know a 4Runner that needs some wax on it (wink)(wink). LOL...:fireman:

He he, I sent the scanned pic to a contact I have at Griot's, and asked if they are going to carry that, or if they even know about it.

Same lady that put my 4Runner into their catalogs.

Are we talkin' about the nice young lady waxing there?

Actually that's kinda cool, maybe I might actually learn how to wax a car for once, instead of paying someone to do it. :pat:
