holy crap that's stupid. if you look close, they're on some type of limited access highway like an interstate. if the speedo goes to 205, it looks to me like they went over 155.
nucking futs. plain and simple. i did however notice how fast they both hit 120+ from cruising speed. crazy-fast cars are cool.

you can get the speed governor on m5s pulled pretty easy, also notice how much quieter the m5 is then the ferrari.

If you pause the video at a good location and count off how many numbers there are you'll come to the conclusion that each number is 20 units and that the biggest number is 260. Now, 260 km/h is completely plausible while 260 miles per hour is plain crazy (416 km/h). I have been in German BMW's before and their speedos top off in the 300's (km/h) eventhough they never reach that speed stock because a common German agreement between automakers governs all their cars at somewhere below 300 km/h. So yeah, they were basically going about 135 miles per hour. The km/h scale also explains why the needle seems to shoot up this fast. Also note that this video originates from a german site, and again I can say from experience that the highway you see looks very like a German autobahn with no speed limit. At night, sometimes long streches of them are empty, so racing like this is very safe.

So unless this is in the UK, South America, South Africa, India, or some Island in the South Pacific, it's correctly left hand drive.
