Latest RC plane video from my brother

My bro took this footage last weekend. We were up on our Dad's ranch. Its beautiful up there. You can see my Runner right at the end before he catches the plane right out of the air. Most of the flying of the plane was done through the VR goggles. They transmit the video into the goggles so you see what the plane is seeing. A couple times we had the plane so high you could not see it with your naked eye.

Awsome Video! How big is the camera? Is it a gas or electric? The prop doesn't seem to be running all the time, so I guess electric.

WOW that was very cool stuff.
I have never been a huge RC fan but if you could transmit video to goggles that would be seriously cool fun.
Makes it more like a real video game and the view is just amazing!!!

Do give more info on the equipment you guys are using.

Glad you liked the Vid. I don't know much about the equipment except that if you saw it you would never think it could produce images like that. The camera lense is about the size of a dime and the whole camera assembly is about the size of a matchbook. It goes back to a little circuit board about the size of another matchbook that has a small brass wire on it that transmits the video. The whole plane set up ready to go weighs less than a pound probably. It's an electric brushless motor that powers it running of 7.2 volts of nickel Polymer battery $$$. It was gliding for a lot of that video. The camera transmits the image back to this little briefcase that he has where a bigger antenna receives it and transmits the image to a small screen and also straight to his camcorder where he records it. I dont know brand names or anything of most of this stuff. I will give him a call and tell him to post some pics of his set up.

Found this on the net.. It's not him but it's the same platform he uses. It's called a slowstick

Well I should clarify my dad lives on the ranch in his Bounder Motorhome. The owner is an old highschool friend of Dads. I believe it is just over 500 acres.

Oh ya and Mike there won't be any good footage of my rootin fence for a while.....hahaha Fences are rough on trucks!
