Las Vegas!

Has anyone stayed at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas? They've got some of the lowest rates, but I've never stayed there before so I don't know how it is. What casinos are next to it? I know it's on the strip, but I can't remembers what's around it.

thanks,
Steve

harrahs, venetian are next to it...caesars is across the stree with MGM....flamingo, bellagio and ballys' is about a 5 min walk down the strip...if you are staying there just to sleep...then it's fine..but if your looking for luxury, then dont stay there....personally, you wont be in your room that much...lots of shows and things to do in vegas...one show you HAVE to catch is lance burton at monte carlo....one of the cheapest shows in vegas and yet still one of the best..most shows are almost 100 bucks...like O or circue de soliel....good luck and dont gamble too much!!!!!

Ah, thanks CLin,

I've been to vegas a lot, but I just couldn't place the palace. It's not exactly a high profile casino. For the particular weekend we're going, the lap of luxury runs about $300 per night and imperial palace is only about $100.

About 4 or 5 years ago I saw Lance Burton. He was trying to do the Corvette dissappearing act and the corvette wouldn't start. It was kinda funny. But, yeah, it's probably the best bang for the buck. I think, by far, the best show in vegas is O. It was pretty cool, well worth the $100 per ticket.

You'll find me at the nickel slots!

Steve

I stayed in Vegas for 2 weeks for work...haha.. Uncle Sam can be nice sometimes. We only worked about 6 hours a day and had the weekends off. Anyways I am not into shows so I went KISS and Ted Nugent and also seen Poison, Dokken, Slaughter, and Cinderalla all play at the Hardrock Hotel. All of that on top of the Vans Triple Crown Freestyle Motocross comp! You guys ever seen Travis Pastrana, Mad Mike Jones, Clifford Adatponte, ect perform on a motorcycle. Them guys are awesome!

My parents have a place in vegas so i go down there several times a year. Last time I went, we saw the blue man group at the luxor. I cant say enough about it, I think it was funny and amazing at the same time. Highly recommend it.

I went with my family a few years ago and we stayed at the Excalibur. It was so much fun, and I wasn't even allowed to gamble (age). I would strongly recommend that hotel and the Luxor (the big black pyramid) was also very nice. :fireman:

When are you going to vegas? I will be there the 27-1st for Thanksgiving at my bro's house.
I usually make it there around 10 times a year
