Laptop bags with wheels - recommendations?

Hi everyone,

This is Tom's wife Sarah. I was wondering if you could make a recommendation on a new computer bag.

I'd like to get something with wheels on it, so I don't have to carry it on my shoulder while traveling. And I'd like it to be pretty slim. I don't need alot of extra storage in it, and I'd like to be able to store it under a seat instead of in an overhead bin while flying.

So to sum up: good wheels, high quality, compact and lightweight! I can expense this, so cost isn't as big an issue as if I had to pay for it myself, but I still need to be reasonable. I'd say I could probably spend $200-$250 if I had to, but under $200 would be best.

Thanks!

hey sarah!

what's cookin', good lookin? i know its not your fake homemade chocolate chip cookies, thats for sure!

i got a great idea: you make tom carry it, that lazy bum

i have no recommendations on a bag, but if lugging around a laptop bothers you, this is what I've learned to do (from an experienced biz traveller i met). basically i take out any peripherals out of the laptop (like cd-rom, battery, power supply, etc) and pack it inside your suitcase. dont remove the hard drive (if thats possible) b/c thats the most important POHardware. you really notice the difference, esp while roaming around in the airport.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Hey Bob! Come to Iowa and I promise to make you the real thing! No more fake choc. chip ones, hehe. Yeah, I may be able to remove some excess componenets, but I'd have to leave some as I often work on the plane.

Hope to buy something this week as I may be doing a bit longer travel in the future, possibly Australia! Shh....don't tell Tom...

Tell Patty hi!

Take care!
SJ
