After an email is sent, is there any way I can do an edit on it?

When you have MSN you can't, but on AOl you can "unsend" your email...that is, if it hasn't been opened it gets deleted.

you can always claim its a spoofed email that YOU didnt send. its really easy to spoof email

In the general 'net scenario, no, but in a corporate world you MIGHT be able to.
Shannon (Funrunner) hinted at this... Some services are "local store" in that when you send an email _within the same domain_ then the email goes from your machine to a server where it waits until the recipient logs on and checks mail. AOL is like this in that if you're sending from AOL user->AOL user, or many companies are using MS's Exchange Server and that works the same way. But in general... no, you can't.
