I think that tops the lowered Cherokee we have running around in my town, lol. At least it started out 2wd... this man really went through all the trouble of removing the front 4wd suspention and drive components and put in 2wd stuff out of a truck I guess; just to slam it to the ground... that's just wrong...

I hate to say it but with the right color and a s/c'ed 5 speed 3.4 that would be a bad ass Honda killer, but I can't believe someone would sacrifice such a nice truck and do that to it? when you Punch him in the face do it for me too just out of principle

Hah, everytime I search 4runner on CL I fall for that stupid post. Very funny though. I always wonder, we lift our rides and think that people that lower them are funny, is it the same the other way around?

well, I once had a little Isuzu pickup that was 2wd; the PO lowered it a little bit, but I took it to the next step and slammed it all the way down, lol, and yes it is the other way around. All my buddies that had lifted trucks were like "why did you do that?", and I was like "why did you do what you did?". My excuse now is that I was young and dumb... I did some stupid things in my highschool years, lol.

when I look back, I wish I would have pre-runnered it... would have been a good truck for that...

I think the worst part is when it says "They didn't make these with 2wd (meaning it's a 4wd truck), but we CONVERTED IT anyways..."
That just made me pissed off.

Whatever anyone wants to do, but.....that just looks downright ugly.

I've seen some 2nd gen's that looked great. But, that....I'll say it again....looks downright ugly.

I like the second gen front bumper on it if it where cheaper it would make a goos candidate for a body swap on a normal frame unless they cut and lowered the floorpan and body.

well see I used to be into bagged minitrucks like that, but the point is that started off 2wd... not too much you can do except prerunner it, or live with it as is. If you live in the city and don't venture off road too much, then why not do that.

But this man has taken what used to be a 4wd Runner, designed from Toyota to take abuse off the beaten path and still keep on keepen on, ripped what make's it an all terrain vehicle out from underneith it, and turned it into a city driving show truck...

I just think he could have picked a better vehicle to start off with...

would have been less work for him, wouldn't have looked so dumb in the end, and wouldn't have pissed off half of this forum's members, lol
