My name is Alan.

I own a '80 Toyota PU. Converting to 3" lift, Vortec V6, 700R4, 35's with 2" body lift. Then more to come so I am sure I'll be asking questions soon. I live in Aurora, CO. I own an Online Superstore and work as a Purchasing Manager.

Welcome!!

AAahhh! I love Colorado, you lucky dog. '80 Pickup? Wow - any rust? Sounds like a good candidate for a flatbed...

welcome to the boards!

just a quick warning: be careful about the advertising... there's a forum for that and the moderators won't let you do it anywhere else.

so if we help you out, do we get discounts at that store? :bounce2: :bounce2:

Welcome aboard man! An 80 Toy p/u is an awesome offroad vehicle.

I like your online supermarket btw. I'm thinking about picking up that car/truck vacuum. I can't believe I don't have one yet...

Thanks for the welcome all. There is basically no rust now on the truck. Real straight and fresh paint. Metallic brown with soon to be copper metallic flames.

Since you asked, everyone gets discounts at my store just check out the specials tab. Definitely if anyone helps with the build up you can get whatever you want at my cost. To a point of course. That's all I can and will say here.

Looks like a great site. Much like the car club I belong to at www.rmdsm.org Just for kicks I'll try to attach a picture of my car. Talk about bleeding money. You have no idea. There's about $20K in this.

Later, Alan.

Already about $8k invested in the truck ($1600.00 for the truck then body work, paint and the parts and engine and tranny I have bought so far.

Later, Alan.

Hi fellow Coloradan. We are getting more CO area members all the time. I love it. Check out the Offroad and Event planning message board, I'm trying to get a run together sometime soon. He have a good mix of all vintages of Toyota 4x4s. You have the oldest of the CO people I think.

When I get it running with the V6 and transmission I can go. As long as you don't mind someone tagging along that doesn't quite have everything yet really needed for 4 wheeling like winch, jack, etc. But I may have those by then. We'll see.

Thanks for the invite.
