IE error messages...

I have Windows XP and while using Internet Explorer I will get messages saying "Internet Explorer Script Error". There is the option to click yes or no, but sometimes it just keeps coming up and you can't use the site. Anyone know how to stop these messages from coming up?

On your menu, select Tools | Internet Options and then click the Advanced tab.

Make sure you uncheck the highlighted check box;

Yeah, you're current. What about the check box right above the highlighted one? Disable Script Debugging? It's checked as in the image above?

But if the script is just flat broken, poorly written code, it will never render no matter what your settings are. But typically, you would just see a blank page or half a page or something - not a cintinuous loop of error messages. Is this the behavior you're seeing? Other sights are fine, right? Is it just this one site you want to see or is it many?

Yeah even with the disable script debugging box checked it still does it. The error messages just come up at different sites and some not at all. Even with the messages the sites still come up fine. One site it won't even let me click on anything because of the messages, but that site works on aol, so I guess it's just IE.

Had that same problem, everytime I tried to open yotatech it would say error and close it, and then after several days I clicked the internet explorer and the microsft windows update opened and I updated it which took awhile cause it has not been updated since april of 2001

That cleared up all and any error problems, have not gotten a script error since then, but thats usually due to conflicting programs that you have running
