I filled up my 3rd gen for less than $22

When they said gas prices would drop a bit a few months ago I wasn't expecting anywhere under $2/gal but it keeps going down and this morning I paid $1.42 here in Littleton. (SW Denver)

Man,anything over $3 is going to suck all over again.

id be happy if they stayed around 2 a gallon, but 1.42 is NICE! i doubt it will stay there for long, but i also doubt it will climb to what it was over the summer and the past couple years.

I hope it stays cheap. Just put on a new set of 31" Cooper Discoverer M/T for the winter and they use a little more gas than my old tires.

It's not going to stay cheap.

Summer time, it will be back up to over $3/gallon. The prices have been lowered to get people back on the spending track, since most Americans believe gas prices are what is sinking the economy.

I think most intelligent americans are aware this is just a temporary reprieve.

Actually these prices are being reflected worldwide and demand is way down compared to last year but oil companies will be cutting production in a couple of months which will drive prices back up but anything under $3/gal for a while makes me feel pretty good.

I'm actually going to not mind going on a few road trips and an off road trip over the next month.

Intelligent American? Isn't that some sort of oxymoron?

This deviation from $4 gas is very nice, especially given the holiday season I agree. Too bad its gotta go back up And too bad it won't likely be this cheap for race season! Race gas and Diesel are SPENDY!

What octane of race gas and what was it going for last season.

When I was racing I could get 105 for $4.50-5.00 about 3 years ago.

105 unleaded was $8-$10/gallon (price went up over the year at the track), the only place we could legally buy it.

We used the same race gas the crate-engine super stocks used. Truck leaded race fuel was about the same cost for the Outlaw Figure 8 cars

My Supra cost $140 to fill at $1.55/L, the tank is the same size as a 3rd gen P/U, Now its around $60 to fill. I think my truck would be around $32 right now, first gen shortbox think its a 40L tank.

its $.87 per liter here.

$1.54 gal today here in Albuquerque. I can't remember the last time I saw that price for gas. Seems to be dropping a penny or two every few days...

You GUYS are'nt as bad as us in the UK we are paying 1.48771 USD per litre of Diesel, 5 Litres thereabouts is a UK Gallon. At least its coming down over here as well. That equates to about 7.4 USD per gallon over here.

Paid $1.55 in California, which isn't bad at all considering.

I put $20 in the tank, and I got a full tank, and gas on my shoes.
