wonder if the ferrari will end on e-bay for cheap
That is crazy. That is an interesting stable of vehicles, a turquoise f-150 and the epitome of Italian automotive design

so, hubby owns ferrari and a H2 is in the background, but wifey is stuck driving a F-150??? something doesn't add up to that story. also, look at all the dirt on the front of the F and also look at the bricks in the garage. the truck had to come at a high rate of speed thru the yard, and probably going up some sort of imbankment, scooping all the dirt up in the bumper and into the air, then crashing thru the door and corner support and then landing on top of the F.
but anyway... ouch! that's gonna leave a mark! Last edited by bamachem; 07-22-2005 at 05:41 AM. |

Is that covered under insurance or is that considered an act of god?

Is there a link to the story since I find it hard to believe a woman would drive a truck into a garage at a good click and not be concerned for her own life even if she was mad.

Those pics don't make sense. If it were high speed the sheetrock on the ceiling would be destroyed. The F150 has front damage but the rear of the ferrari is in good shape. No busted tail lights on the ferrari either. Weird. It looks like it was just "parked" on top of it. Something ain't right here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but she may have been slightly upset.

If this isn't chopped, she had to have been coming up an incline, then went airborne into the garage judging by the damaged soffit.
Please tell me someone set the moped back up?!?

The truck ramped the garage door (after taking out the corner, header and brick fascia) and that's how it wound up on top of the Ferrari, as is evident by the scraping damage to the garage ceiling and the door panels wedged between the truck's wheels and the car. Admittedly, the dirt does stymie me a bit, unless the truck was carrying it at the time. But I don't think that it was the "wifey" because of the clash in automotive price ranges, I'd venture that it was someone unrelated...an unfortunate commuter or a jealous girl/boyfriend or husband who finally found the Lothario who's been tagging the wifey while he's been out in the field and got even. "Dust" from the debris..., yeah, I'll buy that but that's dirt, not "dust", that's on the Ferrari (see the 3rd. pic), not merely "dust".
It had to come from somewhere else other than residue from the debris..., perhaps the little birdie brought it in with him (see the nest in the bottom left of the 1st. pic under the piece of drywall ? Or is that a clod of dried grass ??)

like i said, on speeding thru the yard, the truck ramped up the sloped part of the yard next to the driveway. with the bumper gouging into the embankment, dirt became embedded into the bumper and also became airborne. the truck then rebounded upwards, ramping up and thru the garage door. that's why the roof of the garage is scraped and the rear of the ferrari is in good shape. also notice the shape of the ford's hood after it's retracted - definitely and angled impact w/ the front of the truck traveling upwards coming into contact w/ a horizontal plane. the truck then hit the roof in the garage, careening it back downward where the pass front tire hit the driver rear of the ferrari just above the tail lights. the truck then rebounded again, sending the front up and over the cockpit of the ferrari, then resting in it's final position...
