Let me see now...

~$200 for clutch replacement (gifts of pizza and mail order steaks included to my fellow mechanics)
$200 for assorted service
$300 or so for headers and cat (haven't gone in yet)
$25 for Seafoam
$100 assorted odds and ends (sparkplug wires, sparkplugs, PCV, etc)

So far not too bad

I'd say with all the damn lifts i've tried and tires i've gone through, and whatever else i did to it, too much i cant remember now, i'd say she's racked up a bill of 6000 plus in 2 years.

Only had my truck about 3 weeks now. . . so, I guess I have spent about $40 in gas and $100 on new floormats. By this time next year it will probably be around a few thousand easily; especially if I hang out much with Darren (from in here) this summer. That guy knows how to spend some money on his rig.

Of course, that 4Runner would be stock and you'd be back to putting mods on it.

(Harps playing bringing me back to the past).....It all started from finding Gadgets site soon after I bought my truck and I began talking with him and he referred me to YT. (I wish I did buy a sports car and mod that instead of the truck, but what's done is done.)
I really don't like thinking about how much I put into it, because a car is a hole in the ground into which you throw your money into, right? I could have a down payment on a house already.
When I watched "The Fast And The Furious" and he said "He probably has over $10,000 in that car, I was like how the hell did he do that and how can you do that. I found out for myself just how easy it can be. And the stuff that's in my sig isn't all of it, like the grill guard and the "system" I have in there. And it's not worth it to be in my sig since I am going to put in a whole new system one day.

ok,back on topic------

I had my '97 Runner for only a little over a year and I had around $2500 in it but with my '99 it didn't need as much but I did need brakes and rear axle seals so the initial maintenance I had to invest about $600 but the few mods I do have only rings in at a little over $900. (Tacoma skidplate,Silverstars and HU,amp and sub)
I do have another $1500 ready to go for shocks/springs and tires in the next couple of months.
