I LOVE to cook!
In fact, in the 'official' cook on my platoon. Try cooking for 12 hungry firefighters. And as for 'fruity'...chicks dig a guy who cooks at least as well as they do!

My Fiancee is a great cook...but I still make my own meals 5 days a week. Just grilled up 2 bugers and fried up some potatoes. Im not much for eating heatly (Im that kid destined to have a heart attack at 30). I just like to cook because its a hell of a lot cheaper than eating out and I make some pretty mean burgers and pastas. Its also very satisfying to have a special meal that you have perfected and everyone wants some.

I enjoy cooking. It's a great diversion. It better be, or I'll cut myself. I've taken cooking classes and have many cookbooks, but usually cook American style, mostly grilling, and sometimes French or Italian. Some of my favorite cuisine, although I don't cook it, is Japanese. I'm not sure why...

I like to get behind a stove on occasion. I'm usuaally too poor to go get the necessary ingredients and I certainly don't have a stock of essentials. More than once have I been heading to the store and got sidetracked at a restaurant (usually a new one).

I cook a lot and really like cooking.
Unfortunately, I live with 4 other dudes and to them cooking is turning on the pizza oven or picking up the phone. Mostly I cook Tex-Mex type stuff, peppers, onions, beans, rice, chicken then wrap it in a tortilla, usually spicy. I got a cool Beer Cheese cookbook for Christmas and have been checking out a lot of those recipes. So far nothing has been earth shattering. |

I love to cook for my g/f. She is handier in the kitchen than I am, and I am always learning how to make nice meals.
I used to work as a prep cook in a restaurant, and tha twas a lot of fun too.

Heck when ya live by yourself and don't have a extremely large budget, due to mods invoked by this place, you learn to cook. I like cooking except during the winter when its cold outside and can't use the grill, kinda angry my gas grill went kaput last summer. I need to go get a new one. I agree the grill is the best way to go. More manly too

I love using the grill, but when it's cold like it is now, the foreman gets the grilling action.
I like non-grill cooking a lot though. I ended up with a tuna casserole tonight, with a baked potato as a side. |

I love to cook, but don't always get the chance since my wife is an excellent cook (she has her own catering company!)

I love cooking. My favorite is making homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs. That's a fun project when you have some time to kill on a weekend. Go to the store for fresh ingredients, the great aromas form the stove...mmmmm.

With two little boys
If I want to eat, I cook! The wife and I take turns with cooking duty, whoever gets home first! But she is by far the better cook, as I just typically cook a big hunk of meat with a side item!

I cook for a living and have a lot of fun doing it. I like to cook at home to. Right now I have some taco meat simmering. Last night was shrimp coctail, tomorrow might be beef stew.
A great way to impress a woman is to cook filet mignon for her.

I like to cook...but my wife is far better.
I'm "better at layering" though (as she says). I'm good with lasagna, nachos, tiramisu, etc... ![]() Jim |

I used to enjoy it... then I got a culinary degree worked 60 hour weeks + weekends and holidays for 15 years then on top of that married a woman (waitress at the time) that cant "cook" a cup of ramen noodles. I find it to be a bit more of a PITA now a day and wish there was a pill to supply the necessary daily nourishment.
I still have a passion for cooking I just gotta dig a little deeper to stay creative.

i worked my way through college cooking at numerous places....but now my idea of cooking is making a sandwich. If you look at 99% of chefs out there, they are men and they don't look too fruity.
