I really like Monty. He seems to have shaped up the site quite nicely after he started charging. I have been using it for almost a year. Only a minor glitch every now and then. Really easy to use.

imagestation is free but is a bit unpredictable.
Does okay to post pictures now and then but is a pain if you want to post a lot. |

All the free ones are starting to stink now.....guess you get what you pay for.
Both of these have free hosting: www.webshots.com www.futureshop.ca (look under photo finishing)

Definately pbase.com
You can even upload .zip files and it automaticly unpacks them and hosts them to keep upload times down. |

ok here is another question. Is there any place where I can make my own website ... I have very little computer knowledge, so it would have to be something simple. I just want to be able to put up pics, and small descriptions of mods that I have done.
Or should I just stick with pic thing?

I've actually been thinking about the website thing too.
If I had time to actually get that started I would definitely go that way. |

Scroll on down on this page.
http://www.yotatech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=62 Look for "How to post pics." There is a method in there that explains how to get a Webshots pic to show up in all it's glory here.

Did you read my page all the way?
You have to use a "secret" URL in order to make a Webshots pics work. Also I don't think you have the true URL to your pic. It should end in JPG, and you have this for your URL. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...36098685KKbwVw There is no file name extension on there. You have to right click your picture and choose properties, and get the ful URL to it which will have jpg at the end. Then put the whole URL after the secret URL from the page above. |

when I click on the image on the webshots page, it will let me copy the URL, but when I go to paste it on yotatech, pasting isn't one of the options it will let me choose. So I clicked on the url at the top (web address) of the image and copy and pasted that ... but it still doesn't work

What works for me *sometimes* is to right click on the image and copy the URL of the image and put that in between the [IMG| |/IMG]

Yes, but are you using the annomisor URL in the page I linked you to?
Your URL should look like this, but I am leaving gaps, or the code will input here, and you won't see the example. Going to bed now, but believe me, the above method works, as many Webshot users are doing it here. |
