Hi from Arizona

Just wanted to give a shout out and say Hi. I'm not sure how this forum is about hello threads, but...

Great site here. Lots of good info found so far. Thanks. I hope to be able to give back and contribute tech info and what not soon.

I'm a yota 4WD newb again. I've been into the DSM scene for awhile now and know about newb issues and site moderating, hehe. I'm not your typical newb though.
I just picked up an '88 yota 4WD that needs alot of TLC for $400. She was abused and abandoned. She's a silver xtracab SR5 with the 22RE and 5-spd. This past weekend I did the timing chain & guides and a headgasket. So she runs and drives again.
By day I'm a Mitsu tech, ASE Master and Mitsu certified, but this site will greatly reduce my learning curve on the aforementioned project.

I found this site through Pirate4x4. They have a nice site there too.

Time to RTFM here and bone up on all things yota I guess.

Welcome! Depending on what your plans are with the '88 yota i'm sure you'll find plenty of advice and info here. Pirate can be a little brutal in some aspects...
Got any pics?
