It's snows 12 months a year on I-70 through CO. You don't need chains- the only people using chains are 18 wheelers and maybe some jackass in a rental care. 1800 miles in one day? You can't drive 1800 miles in one day. If you average 70 miles per hour (which you won't) it will take you 26 hours.

When I moved from San Francisco to Denver, I have to say that the drive through Nevada is the worst. Dirt and beetles. Just awesome.

Of course, the move from Denver to Las Vegas was GREAT! Southern Utah is unreal! I can't wait to get my 4Runner ready for Moab.

I really can't wait. The scenery is to die for.

Plus I'm going on a 7k mile roadtrip this coming summer (will be more info in the future) with my 2 best friends before we go to college. It's gonna be awesome! 3 weeks of fun.
