Call your local dispatch. They'll call somebody to come out and get it.

i would think a fox could clear that fence also, if not in bound then at least onto the fence and climb over, like a cat would do it. Now I realize foxes aren't felines, but this seems like something that would be in thier bag of wiley fox tricks...
worse coems to worse....keep dog in the house, open the gate on your fence.

Thats the stupidest ☺☺☺☺ing thing. Yeah man... lets kill it. Like we haven't killed enough living things already. Its a frigging fox. The thing is skiddish. Its not going to come into your house and attack you. Are all you guys who shoot stuff for fun just pussies or what?

See with the tangents?
Like was mentioned earlier, he's not shooting just to be killing, the thing could be carrying some harmful stuffs. Though it would be best just to call. I will try to denote more sarcasm next time >

I saw a coyote eat a cat once in my backyard (This was when I lived in San Diego) I went out afterwards to see what was up, and all that was left was the face, kinda like a mask sitting on the ground.
So, with this in mind, I would call Animal Control. Let them deal with it.

we had a fox hanging around for two whole weeks...
as far as figuring it out... don't kill it or lead it to be killed unless it's already rabid. but get it away from your house, whatever you do... just use good common sense and trust your own judgement... if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything, whether it be becoming the Pope (I can't) or getting a fox out of your back/front/side/field??? yard. |

Foxes make their "living" in neighborhoods. You can easily tell if a fox has rabies or not. If they seem like they're drunk or don't run when approached then something is up. Also- they can jump 4 foot fences in their sleep. I would just walk outside and make a lot of noise- he should run off.
