FJ cruiser or Land Cruiser 100?

If you were thinking of moving on from your current ride, which would you choose?

My wife has a 100 - very nice ride.

She'll probably get a Lexus sedan in a few years, and then I'll get the 100 - it will be the DD and the runner will still be the wheeler. the 80's were large on the trails, the 100's are HUGE and really impractical for alot of trails here in the SE.

for me, the 100 is a VERY nice ride, but caters to a totally different audience than a FJ does. the 100 can be built into an offroader, but is very expensive to do. however, it's a plush ride, and is like cruising down the road while sitting in a la-z-boy that's riding on air cushions.

the FJ is more of an out-of-the-box wheeler, and less of a soft, plush ride.

The 100 hands down for me. I like them.

Depends on what you need out of it. I can't justify an FJ as a primary or secondary vehicle until my kids are older and can sit in front of an airbag/in the front seat.

Unfortunately, my choice would be made for me by the ol' ball and chain anyway.

That's like asking if you want a hooker or a wife, not really in the same league.

I love the 100's. They have traditional fit and finish of a luxo comfortable Land Cruiser.

The only FJ I have liked was the one on the UA. It had enough bells and whistles to keep me entertained.

I have always wanted a LC, that would be my pick if I could afford one.

I'd rather build/wheel/daily drive a 100 than an FJ. Really I'd rather have an 80.

Of the choices I would say 100, unless I were going to wheel it a lot, then FJ80 instead 100. Why not keep the 4Runner and buy a car as a daily driver- a nice used Lexus?
