I have been following the news on CNN for the past few hours.

I think the "shock & awe" will be starting before to long.
Perhaps at daybreak?
That will be about 7 PM my time tonight.

The royal palaces over there are taking a beating.
I did not know Saddam had swimming pools at each of his palaces until today, but I heard he likes to swim a lot.

Maybe he's doing the "sand stroke" now?

I had never heard he likes to swim ether.

Maybe thats why he lived as long as he has.

Anywho, good riddens. So far I haven't seen "shock and awe" but I hope to see it soon.

Hooya! Did you hear about the SEALS mission to take over the wellheads in the Gulf? And all the spook Special Ops that are so effective but we may never hear the whole story? So many pros at work that hopefully make this a short conflict. Already, they've advanced more quickly than any force in history.

There's speculation that hard fighting will erupt in the streets of Baghdad, but maybe it'll fall from within. They should do a Panama and play loud music to annoy Saddam into surrendering like Noriega!

I also sense a change in the onsite reporters attitudes. Instead of their usual, cynical anti-military spin, they seem to have found respect and camaraderie in combat. Well, except for that old fart Ted Koppel who needs air evac soon for a nap. So far, a brilliant campaign. Thanks to the internet and cable tv, we're a bunch better, and more objectively, informed than ever before.

Here's a pic of Saddam's worst nightmare, the first all-female combat refueling crew in their KC-135. Man, where do I re-up?

Good golly Miss Molly
That is what Joey (UKMyers) does for the AF.
He operates the refueling boom.

I wonder if his flight crew looks like that?
Where do I sign up?
Ah crap, I'm to old

I'm a retired US Marine. We always knew the AF had the best looking women!

That's why we always tried to hang out at their clubs

Those are four reasons why, we Marines, fight and die for our country!

I still haven't seen what I consider "shock and awe". I hope to soon.

Amen Brother. I'm in Japan and they are way to close. A little (or alot) of shock and awe would do them well.

News Flash

Osama was just spotted leaving the underground bunkers under his palace.

Rumor has it he was heading to the grocery store to get some Purina Camel Chow for his pet.

GREAT pic! The young lady on the lower right hand side...sigh...

I bet the line for that tanker is loooooooong!

Anyways, i find it absolutely hilarious that women are contributing to Saddam's ass kicking. As far as I know, women are treated like crap in Saddam's world.

Payback, in its loveliest form, is a B@#CH!

Edit: looking at the pic again, is that Tanya Harding on the lower left!?!!?? Talk about redemption!!!

I agree Bob....that girl in the lower right is a cutie, but she hardly looks old enough to be out of high school!

And yes, that IS the irony of all ironies...

Looks like its sunup over in Baghdad, I guess we're getting ready to go at it again. The news is reporting more explosions.

I went to happy hour with some guys from work. There was a retired army sergeant there (SFC) with a friend. This guy was in his uniform, and he had a special forces patch on his shoulder. I tried to buy them a round, but they were on their way out. I just told him that there may be ea bunch of lunatics here in SF, but I for one was supporting his brothers!
