I'm sure most of you have heard by now the 22 year old actor who plays Steven in the Dell commercials got busted for trying to buy some dope the other day.

In other news, Kevin Mitnick the famous hacker from a few years back got hacked by someone else for a change.

Guys,

Yeah, read about the Dell Dude yesterday on CNN. I find it absolutely pathetic that this Dell Dude guy got front page coverage on CNN.com for his pot buying escapade. Shoot, isn't there more important news than a guy buying a small bag of weed? I don't do that stuff, but c'mon, this is ridiculous.

Thats funny. I like how Kevin handled the situation. As for the Dell dood, if I remember right there was a article on slashdot saying of how he was getting replaced by the interns for something like 2 years. I think it was more of praise than anything else, that guy got really annoying.

Not a surprise CNN posted it, they always do crap like that.. I hate going there for news just because they are sooo opinionated.

I can't remember where I read it (think it was a blurb in Business Week or Fortune), but Dell sales were very much positively affected by the Dell Dude advertising campaign. Yes, the slogan and his character was getting a little old, but I'm sure Michael Dell is rolling a fattie tonite and flying the Dell dude down by private jet right now to smoke it.

I haven't liked that dell dude since I heard about him doing 90 in a school zone in his new Porsche. It was about 3 miles from where I grew up. PUNK!

I gotta stand w/ Bob_98 on this one. Personaly, I dont use the stuff, BUT COME ON!!! Same thing when they popped David Lee Roth in New York about 6 yrs back for trying to buy pot from an undercover cop. WHY IS THIS NEWS WORTHY??? It's pathetic. With everything going on in the world... how does this rate air time??

And Bill and Monica had NO idea what they were doing was concidered sex.....
