Man, I knew that thing looked familiar, the shop I used to work at had an old Datsun 510 wagon, and I thought it looked really familiar. [rant hijack]I miss that old P.O.S., I hate anyone that drives with a cellphone, 'cause the guy that ran the redlight was yackin' on his cell phone[/rant hijack]

I like it too. I wonder how hard they push it. The funny thing is that there is almost no where to off road in Juneau. They would have to hit the main land to find anything remotely interesting for that beast.

that's not a body-lift, it's a body-SWAP. that's not the original frame. see how it sticks out farther than the body on the front and back? it's probally a chevy frame and drivetrain w/ the body fabbed to the frame w/ custom mounts.

thats probably why he/she parked one wheel on the curb. maybe he just got a new locker and felt the need to test it out?

Its on an '80-'91 K5 frame and axles. 2 1/2" lift springs up front, ORD 2 1/2" shackle flip out back.

It actually looks better than most of the car body'd trucks out there, but i wouldnt drive it.

Looks kinda cool but it doesn't look like it has hardly any front suspension travle. Just look at the front shocks.

Gas is more expensive up here, but the strange thing is that it hasn't changed in price for the past month! They don't change the prices until they use all the inventory they have. (Juneau is land locked so fuel comes in by barge) I hope they get a new shipment in soon

Well Erich, your not missing out on much in the way of gas prices. It's only about .05 less back here in K-Falls.
