College: Who is already getting burned out?

I am!!
I only have 1 semester left after this one, but I am already getting burned out. The days I have morning classes, I work until 5. The days I have night classes (until 9:45pm) I work the morning. I am taking 15 credit hours and working 34 hours a week, it seems like I am never home. To top that off, I am taking the LSAT on Oct 4th, and I haven't studied yet!! I need to do that this weekend! ARRGGHHH!!!

Kid stuff! I think I ran into myself the other morning getting out of bed. My other self was coming home.

I am taking 6 graduate hours in engineering and working 50 hours/week with a wife and two boys under 3.

What is studying again?

I'm only taking 17 hours this semester, but I've been in school for the past 6 years (changed my major 3 times). I work part time after school 3 days a week, while the other 2 days I spend desperately trying to keep up with my online class and whatever other work I have. The past 4 years I've spent my summers and holidays working 13-14 hour days. To me, it feels like I've been going non-stop ever since then. I would really like a vacation, but don't seem to have the time to take one. So yeah, I guess I'm getting a little burnt out.

I will be out in May of 2004.

Right now I am taking 17 credits, but 5 of those are an anatomy lab where I spend 6 hours a week and will be spending a good chunk of this weekend.

The toughest thing for me is realizing that if I don't get into graduate school for this coming fall, my degrees in Philosophy and Biology will have only prepared me for more school!

Gotta take advantage of the learning while I have it though. This is a unique chance to learn with the best.

I know what you mean...

Newly married, work full time, taking night school at UofP to get my undergrad in Bus Man. And just when I thought that would end, I may end up in Seminary for a Masters in Divinity. Being gone from 630am to 10pm is not uncommon.

I cant imagine having kids in the middle of all this! :pat:

When am I going to have time for mods?

I hear ya, I barely have time to put gas in my car!!

THe days that i work in the morning, I usually clock in at 5:30, except for Fridays, I have to open at 4:30. I sometimes get 5.5 hours of sleep a night..

My wife says I have been grumpy lately, how would she know, I only see her on Saturdays and Sundays!

SLC, why don't you sell me your all-trac, and take a few months off work?

I know all too well about all this crap. I'm taking 16 hours this semester at school, I work 19 hours/wk at an intership, than I work about 20hr/wk waiting tables, and then I have to go out and drink afterward . Free days don't exist for me, but hey I like having money and money pays for my Tacoma so all in all it's good times. I figure I am like a shark, if I stop moving, I may die

The first year at seminary...

THEY CRUCIFY YOU!

The second year at seminary...

THEY BURY YOU!

The third year at seminary...

YOU GET RESURRECTED!

So what exactly you going to "cemetary" for?

I want to be a youth pastor.

We should take this to PM if you want to talk more about it.

Post Oh man...

I thought I had it bad until I read some of your posts. I'm taking 16 hrs and working 20 hrs. It really sucks. As of right now I don't have very much time for YT. That's why I haven't been able to get my thread up about my hubs yet. Anyways, I'm NOT going out at all this weekend . I'm pretty bummed. I could really use a good weekend of partying . I've got three essays that I have to write and a test on Monday that I have to study for . That's my situation here. I don't see how some of you guys have any time for studying.

Off to writing...
