Unhappy Christmas break is over. Post your Spring 04 school schedule!

Welp, I start my last semester today. I am not really looking forward to the classes I am taking, but at least they will be my last (for my undergrad degree anyways).

Econ 5380 Law & Economics

I have another week before the course work starts, but I too am staring the last semester in the face. Thankfully, it is much more laid back than the 17 credits with 6 hours of lab that I had this past term.

The courses are as follows:
Modern Ethical Theory
Wittengenstein Seminar
Ornithology
Racquetball 1

And the big kicker, Friday at noon down at the Tech school is Related Welding where they teach me how to cut metal and glue it back together!

Where are you graduating from SLC?

I will be out of Madison with a BS and a BA in Philosophy and Biology.

Racquetball 1, sweet! I took Weightlifting I & II, Bowling, and Karate my first couple of years. I am paying for it now!

I am graduating from the University of Utah in Economics with a minor in Business.

I work for an industrial and mechanical contractor in the fabrication department. They pay for my tuition, books, etc and let me go to class. I am taking 6 hours and still working 40 hours, so as long as I get my 40, they don't care about the other...I usually work 50-60, but I do think that would KILL me with school thrown in there too. :pat:

Physical Anthropology
Computer Science
Principles of Financial Accounting

15 credits

Anthro class is going to suck. It's all about evolution, which I don't really believe. The first chapter has already made false accusations towards creation. If it could at least stick to facts then it would be fine. But already they are making false statements.

CS is absolutely boring. I've done almost everything with computers. Basic programming, network administration, support, to building computers. Of course none of that matters. I never took any formal classes so in the eyes of school I have to start at the beginning. On the bright side my teacher is going to waive my attendance requirements. I'm going to skim through the book and write the required visual basic program and see if I can take the final 2 weeks into the class.

Finance looks like it won't be too bad. It is focused on the management side of accounting and some computer stuff so it should be interesting. One more quarter after this and I'll have my AAS transfer degree.

Hey SLC I'm an Economics major myself too! Man thats quite a load you got there Me, I'm taking:

Ecn 110A Econ History Pre Industrial Rev
Ecn 115B Macro Economic Development
Psc 101 Psychobiology

Only 12 units this quarter and two days of school a week but theyre 7 hour days. One more quarter after this and I'm outa here . . . but with this economy I dunno if I should be happy or sad. I'm gonna miss college though, well not the classes and the tests but the experiences.

You know it's never a good sign when on the first day of class the prof announces that this particular class is the most hated by the majority of the students in the business school. If you don't know what I'm talking about already, it's Finance. Anybody been through that class yet? Any words of wisdom?

Change majors Honestly, it's one of the major contributing factors to why I'm now a Graphic Design major. Best move I've ever made. I believe that if you have the right teacher it won't be too bad. As long as you don't have Dr. David Hemley you should be good.

No way. This is the 4th time I've changed my major and I'm sticking with it. It's the only FIN class I have to take, so maybe I'll be able to squeak by.

Same exact thing happend to me at SF State in FIN303. I dropped the class. I didn't really have all the pre-reqs like I do now, plus I wanted to take the class with a human professor, not the demonic ogre i had. plus i found out he had terrible ratings on teacherreviewws.com.

i'm taking it this semester, and i'm sure it won't be so bad.

What does the MA stand for?

I just got accepted into Colorado State for Mechanical Engineering. That looks like what I am gonna be up against. Luckily, I have a few english credits out of the way, and I may get some Calc credits because of my AP classes (and their tests).
