Chicago Auto Show?

Anyone going??? This is why I ask....

I'm betting its a convertible Solara and sport version of the Tundra (similar to the “S-Runner”)

Instead of going with the sporty package, TOYOTA ought to do something for the off-roaders.

oh my... why'd they have to put the name 'runner' into a pre-lowered truck?

Chris, it's one model in the next Taco series. Here's a press release describing the specs. Note the 1GR 4.0L V-6 will have an available S/C, standard 6M/T, LSD, X-braced frame, special suspension tuning, 18" tires and wheels, and check out those seats! Stock 0-60 will be around 7 flat, probably breaking into 5's with the S/C, and will generate more grip than a 350Z! I'll bet it rides like a ...truck, though.

Hmm, this or the Scion tC S/C?

It looks ok...but...its about 6-8 inches too short, designers must have been under the asian persuasion when they threw that out, looks like a ricin machine. But I'm sure if it found its way into the right hands that thing could be an off-roading masterpiece...we'll just have to wait and see!
