Most ODBII cars already record sensor readings for a certain amount of time that can be retrieved after an accident. Search on the web and you'll find cases where such data was used to prove fault.

The Gov't is talking about putting a blackbox in every new car. The courts are going to use them to prove you was speeding or you a bad driver and try to make things a bigger mess. They got them in most big truck now!!!!
