Battle of the video cards

NVidia will soon be releasing their next gen of GeForce cards with the number 6 in the model line up.
More info here...

It's going to take a hefty power supply to run the 6800 Ultra too.
For now, I am very happy with the ATI 9600 Pro I aquired a few weeks back.

Miminum 480 Watt power supply to use this thing! Ouch. They said this card is so demanding it will directly hook into the computer's power supply. That's some serious power demand.

Oh well, it's going to be way out of my prce range for a while, but at least it will make the price on the other Nvidia cards come down so I can afford one of those when I upgrade.

I'm running a GeForce 3 Ti 200 and have been happy with it. I think I will stick with Nvidia on the next upgrade.

It's amazing how this technology keeps progressing.

I'm running the 5900 Ultra and it rocks graphics lag is a thing of the past... even with the 64bit processor and the card I have not needed to upgrade the powersupply yet and everything is still running smooth....
