Its a shorter version of the 30-30, in a 10" bbl you can get about 300-400 FPS more, which in a pistol hunting round is great.
But its a wildcat, a fairly common wildcat but still a wildcat with not too much info on it. I want to find someone who has the brass forming dies (brass is made from 30-30 brass) and send them a stoney point COL gauge for 30-30 and have it formed for the .30 Herrett.
