I don't mean to be a smarty pants, Bobb, but did you not notice I posted this today? Haha! I gotta find someone that has the ability to lift it up so we can pull the 2" body lift off. I don't think the little blocks are in any shape to be reused, but if I can find someone to help get it done, they are yours if you wanna come get'em. Unless YOU know someone who could help me take it out???

Well, this guy backed out, so no go on that thing, but I am still trying to find a 2nd gen. We'll see what happens I suppose. I keep having people just back out of the deals. Virginia is full of really flaky people, it's crazy!

I'm waiting on a guy to get back to me by lunch today about his 95. but that's already got 31's and a 2" leveling kit. The 12x50's won't fit on it without some kinda rub I'm sure, so, I told him he could keep the wheels and tires if he does it. I just wanna get a damn 4runner already.

Well, I now am working a weird three way kinda deal, going to sell my truck outright, put the money into another 6" 3'n'3 lift with 35's then swap the 35's with the 33's on my truck and give the guy who buy's my truck 35's.
Whew. It's confusing. The point of it all though is that I'll still have a 4runner to pull a body lift off of. So I may still hit you up on that offer. I'd love to help ya out with the rebuild if you need it, I'm always looking to learn more about this stuff. |

OK, well, MAYBE the first 4runner I went after may work in the long run after all..... I have a guy coming today to supposedly buy my truck, to which I will take that money straight to 4runner guy and buy his rig. We'll see what happens, after all the flakes I have been dealing with I have no hopes for anything....
But, I say that to say this. If I get it the first thing I wanna do is pull that body lift off of it. I'll do a reverse "build-up" thread, haha. Where are you, by the way?? |

maybe trade. ur truck got the 22re or v6? ehhh mileage on mine I have no idea of, dash was replaced before i got the truck, title under mileage reads NA, for not accurate. Ive had it for 3 years and it purred when i got her so i didnt much less care. Runs even better now after i overhauled whole top and front end of motor 3000 miles ago. long list of new parts. Doesnt burn or leak anything. You would have to drive her to really believe how good she drives. 70+easily on highway all day long no steering shake or drivetrain vibrations. 22re pulls strong. everything works but cruise control. ice cold a/c and hot heat. let me know

Hey Bobb, you got a place up in Richmond we could pull my body lift off and put that stuff onto yours? If I am going to give you the parts, it would be simpler to knock it all out in a day or two if you have the resources to do it... It's definitely a 3" those little rubber blocks are huge! There is going to be other stuff that has to be done I guess, other parts I'll have to get to replace those??? I have so much to learn. Anyways, let me know.
If not, fourlinked, let me know what's up. I am right behind the Lynnhaven mall, so you would be a much shorter drive, haha. I'm looking forward to getting rolling on getting this thing done so it won't look so stupid with a 7" lift and 31" tires. Can't afford new tread at the moment, and I don't wanna have to buy 35's just so it looks not terrible. |

Well, third member is done. We changed it out this evening.... I gotta get a cap for this new housing, it came off a 96 that had a "speed sensor" and my 95 doesn't have that, so I need a cap to plug that with before I can test drive it to make sure it works and we didn't totally screw it up. ha.
