Japanese Transmissions in Sacramento
Hey Guys! I'm new to Yotatech, Toyota 4x4's, and Northern California. I'm having trouble with my transmission and have talked to Japanese Transmissions in Sac about either rebuilding my tranny or buying an already rebuilt one from them. Has anyone used them before? Heard anything good? Bad? It's a 1990 extra cab pickup V6 automatic (I know! I know!, not the best choice). Thanks!
PS- This is by far the best Toyota forum on the web! I can't wait until I have something useful to contribute/give back. Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge!

Try contacting Marlin Crawler. They're the only ones I would buy a rebuilt transmission from.
Or, I'd just grab the FSM and buy all the parts to do it myself.
