california junkyards

hey y'all,
i'm looking for a 1996-98 4runner grill, and i was thinking a junkyard might be a good place to get one on the cheap. any suggestions on who to call around the bay area? or LA?

You've probably already tried the yellow pages but did you try looking for auto disassemblers? Apparently there are nicer names for scrapyards.

I didn't know that until last year when I was looking for a place to test out some eqp from work. My co-workers kept telling me, "don't look for junkyards - look for a disassembler listing or something like that."

Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

Thereis a Toyota only recycling yard in either Fresno or Rancho Cordova called TAP. www.taprecycling.com. They've had most things I've wanted (except an '85 solid front end) . Anyway. good luck. Oh yeah. if you search on google for toyota recycling, you'll get good results.
