heres a review from ttora, and when searching this site there are more
http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum...ead.php?t=8807
I have these lights and I think they are a good overall bang for your buck light. I had the hella 500's and I think these are slightly better and well they are IPF's so you will be cool. ha. They supply a good harness, however i modified it to suit my needs. These lights are unique as they provide a wide and driving light beam all at once, and come with the optional 100W which make daylight. I suggest if you get them to get the clear covers which are about 20 bucks and can be found at 4x4connection. I can take some pics if you like however I have the winter yellow 55w's in them now

You would have to check local laws about driving lights. Usually if there 55w and there aimed low enough to not get flashed by oncoming traffic you wont ever get bothered

You just can't really use them on the street since they sometimes do blind people but if you have them aimed properly cops generally don't harrass people with them.

I think so, regular price is $116 and that is the cheapest that I was able to find at www.4x4connection.com

Also, it is made by ARB if I am not mistaken, so the quality is top notch. I haven't been able to find an aux light that functions as both fog/driving light which gives you both a wide beam as well as a pencil beam. Not to mention that it comes with two pairs if bulbs, a 55W and a 100W. That's just my .02

SizzleChest,

I also thought AUX lights were only used for off road ONLY. I guess it is different from state to state.

is that in canada or us? i got my 968's from national in calgary. they work awesome. better bang for the buck over the 500's. havent tried em yet with the higher watt bulbs, but havent felt the need to. wiring harness was simple. still working on hooking it up to an oem switch.

not street legal..only for off road (hwy) use.

It says on the site they are 50 state strret legal? I'm assuming as long as you are using the 55watt bulbs. It said it comes with 100's also.
