Costco lug nuts
I was at the tire store in Costco, and saw a rack of replacement lug nuts. Mine look pretty ratty, so I asked how much for the 12mm X1.5 acorn nuts. They were only 58 cents each!
I walked out with 24! They are "gorilla" brand.

a few years back i checked at the dealership cuz i thought i needed different lugnuts for my 96+ tacoma wheels on my 92 P/U. they wanted something like $7 each. i found em elsewhere for about 75 cents each but they haven't held up very well cosmetically.

I needed some lug nuts when I bought my 4Runner because it only had 5 on each wheel. I assume the previous owner took the special key lug nuts off when he sold the truck to me. Anyways, I was at a scrap yard poking around for any goodies and I decided to ask the guy at the desk if he had any. Sure enough, he had a box of brand new ones, going for 75 cents each. I considered buying 24 so that all of them would be nice and shiny, but then I realized that they would be muddy in a heartbeat anyways...

most the time lug nuts are lug nuts, sometimes you get cheap ones that are a little differant box to box, size color, but most of the time they all work

i'm glad i found this thread...
called my costco and they have lug nuts for sale. from $0.58 to $1. i'm going to buy 24 of them!!! thanks. joel
