maybe he read it wrong. i dunno if they make a 31x12.5; maybe he just has 'em mounted on 10"s. they're definitely deep dish.

some nice trucks in there tho!

The one with the V8 swap makes me feel all bubbly inside..... I think I am smitten. And my love is certain to be unrequited.

@ 89dlx: generations of runners are not in sync with generations of pickups.

@ Bob: that V8 is a real tease for me too. i had a 90 lexus LS before my runner and i looove that motor. i couldn't rave about it enough, other than that it REQUIRES premium fuel if you don't like to hear pinging. that's the primary reason i sold it and got the runner, because i was sick of buying premium at the height of the last gas price peak.

which is also the primary reason i wouldn't swap one in unless i somehow came into a trust fund to cover gas expenses. i'd rather sell a car than put in the wrong gas.

but if you are interested in a 1uz swap, there's a lot of lexus SC400s i see as junk/salvage vehicles so you could get a motor pretty cheap if you look around. people seem to drive those off the road a lot more than the LS. (ha)

I wonder how many of those are now flood-recovery vehicles.

NBC News says 20 inches of rain since last Friday.
