$25 mail in rebate with purchase of an optima battery

Mail in rebates piss me off. Either the item is discounted or it is not. I refuse to jump through a bunch of hoops to make a purchase. I AVOID buying a product that offers a MIR simply out of principle.

I just bought a Yellow Top Optima for the 4Runner and also just mailed in my rebate. It is really not a bad deal considering it only took me 3 minutes to fill it out and walk out to the mail box for $25 bucks

This rebate would make sense to me if they hadn't gone up in price by $50 since I bought my last Blue Top.
