3rd brake light on '98 tacoma!!!

3rd brake light on '98 tacoma!!!

Having problems getting my 3rd brake light off(the one above the cab). There seems to be something on the inside that is holding it in place. I removed the upholstery on the inside just enough to see whats inside and i didnt see anything that could be holding it back. I REALLY NEED HELP......
