Than order it from the place you got the VW motor from next time . Things go out of stock and companies get swamped with customers, thats life. Yes, they probably should have emailed you soon, but they didn't.

I'll still order stuff from Wabfab

You've got to remember that WabFab is a small operation. Its not like they have huge warehouses or other locations that they can have items shipped from if they're out of stock. Or, maybe their BL are made to order.

I had to wait 3 weeks to get my quick disconnects but they were made to order. Brian was very easy to get a hold of through E-mail and explained they were quite busy with other in house projects but would have them to me in a few days. 3 days later they were on my door step.

So just pull your panties out your ass and learn to be patient.

I dont mind waiting if i know ahead of time. They knew they were out when they sent me a email response. How hard is that to understand...I dont know how big of an operation they have they have a big website offering all kinds of stuff. This is my first time dealing with them. I like to get ahold of an actual person that is what im the maddest about, I like to deal with a person not email or text

I've ordered stuff from him and got it very quick. Every company will have a mishap or something along the way. How many people have had problems with Toyota? Still, they keep buying them. WabFab's product has proven itself to me (quick disco's). I will continue to buy them (in fact, need to put in an order soon. ). Top notch products.

I alwyas call when I order something. Even if there is a site to order from I ALWAYS call anyway to talk about the order. Then I know if it's in or has to be made or whatever. I don't like to wait either but if I know I have to it's OK.

I dont mind waiting if i am told ahead of time that something is basically on backorder. He texted me and said they were out, and it would take another 4 days to cancel my order so i just kept it. I usually always call ahead of time also I prefer to deal with a real person. I just needed to vent a little

Hate to hear the bad experience you're having w/ WabFab . It might be difficult, but try not to let this one sale sour your feelings for WabFab. They offer some great products (and services) and I'd hate to see you quit doing business w/ them over this. I have the utmost respect for the way Brian does business. Hopefully, you and WabFab will work it out.

Yes you should know when something is out of stock before you get charged so you can order somewhere else if you need to but is it really something to post here about? Why not take it up with him in a P.M. or on the phone? This is more like public bashing than anything imo

Just my .02

Edit: also there is a vendor rating area in the members classifieds if I'm not mistaken...which I could be

It taking about that long to get mine in a box to ship out. You ordered a clutch from him that came from california? I wonder where my body lift is coming from? That may be the hold up

YAY for WABFAB!!!!

i do think this is the wrong section for this post. it reminds me of ebay, when some one doesn't get their stuff in a day or two and they leave negative feedback. i agree with Donovan, if you don't like using email and txt you should call your order in. i've PM'd Brian several times over a couple weeks for my order and he always kept me up to date every time i contacted him. sometimes ebiz takes a while. i ordered something from a big warehouse place last friday, they just sent me an email telling me it would ship tomorrow (Wednesday). if it's a quality product, it's worth the wait. WabFab is quality imo.

some chit takes time... I hate it when customers grill me for a part.. i have no control over back ordering or shipping and im sure wabfab doesnt either. If us 4 wheel parts guys could fabricate items in 10 minutes,or could magically make an item appear in 1 day thats 3 weeks out id be a very rich man...
