Why was the thread closed? "Discretion of the staff?" It had been around for a while now and it gave YT an opportunity to see the battle that one of its members was facing. Its seems that HD&T has fought an up hill battle and YT was a way for people to get his side of the story. Others have voiced an opinion about the quality of the DOA products.(some good and some bad) If there was a possibility that a vendor was selling sub par equipment i would like to know it. I would also like to read about the experience that others have had with that vendor.

I will never purchase from that Company anyway.
I didn't see where the thread went, its possible it got too out of hand. Either way, just be sure to warn people away from that craptastic company, thread or no thread. Perhaps mods can sticky a post at the top of the Truck forum to indicate how bad that company is, and warn all the members away, instead of a thread.

I haven't followed the thread in a while, so I can't speak as to why it was deleted, but I do know that DOA does NOT have a good reputation among the majority of Toyota enthusiasts.
I do think it is good to have available factual (or as factual as can be) information about customer's experience with DOA and other companies, as is found in the Vendor's Feedback area. I don't think that it is good to jump to conclusions either way.

I wish that HD&T would at least repost the main topic of his former thread.

Well, originally it was a guy getting screwed by DOA. It wasn't the first i've heard, but it was certainly the most in depth. It is WAAAYYY too much to put up here.
I'm sure it was closed due to some infractions, but, the topic should go back up. MODS: You gotta get at least a warning up about those bastards. At least plaster it across the top of each tech forum.
