Would you ever make one to house dual batteries? Or do you guys think duals are not needed ever?

I was thinking that, too. I'm not sure there's enough room under my hood to fit two Optimas in that spot, but that would be cool. I'm probably gonna order one of these battery trays, they look really nice.

The pictures don't do it as much justice as it does in person. The welds are basically perfect. I just got mine in and am putting it into my truck first of next week. Great company, with great craftsmanship and service. I highly recommend them for any purpose that they can assist you with.

The generic one would work but require welding.

It would be tight under the hood but you'd have to move some stuff.

I have question about the kit above. The boom battery tray...do you have to bolt it ot the sheet metal? Also, does the tie work with stock bolts?

Thanks,
Jim

The 84-95 bottom tray sits in the OEM location onto the OEM sheet metal tray and you reuse your stock bolts.

Do you think it would work for a 01-03 tacoma?

Perhaps so, as I've never had a first gen pickup to test it on.
