Here's a couple of pictures of a Tuffy #013 stereo security box mounted in my 95 Tacoma regular cab. This is the 8" wide box and it fits snugly between the seats. We did not mount the front cupholders, but there appears to be room. Mounting it forward like this still gives me usable room behind the seat. As soon as Jacques #023 6" box comes in we'll post up more pictures.

On the 023 and 013 there is a bracket included. When we installed the boxes in our Tacomas it wasn't needed. On the 013 box in my truck we installed the cup holders on the back of the box.

does anyone know the first post and pic of the tuffy with the deck in it. would it fit in my 83 toy with dual transfer case sticks???????? Or is it too tight?

It might be a bit tight, the second set of pics with the black stereo box and the tan interior is my Tacoma. The box is pushed all the way up to the bezel for the shifters and there was barely room behind the box to install the cup holders. If you were to push it any further back it wouldn't really be usable as an armrest. Here's the diminsions, if you need more info let me know.

The consoles come with the cupholder, they can be mounted on the front or the back of the box. It's hard to tell from the parts breakdown exactly where the heat ducts for the rear are routed. If the floor area is clear it can be mounted in the vehicle.

For the center consoles it depends on how much room you have between the seats. The 88 is narrower than the Tacoma so I'm guessing the 6.5 will fit. Tuffy offers the 6.5" center console with and without the stereo security feature. Some of the small interior boxes can be mounted and I'm sure there's a rear security drawer that will fit.
