After buying the detroit locker, how much does it cost to pay somebody to set it up? I like to do work myself, but I think that the set up would be a little out of my comfort zone.

If you can pull the 3rd, I set them up for $100. If someone else pulls the 3rd plan on $250-300.

With the current exchange rate, you would be better off ordering them locally.

Figure $35 each way.

BTW, I set up each 3rd for $150/ea + shipping.

ARBs run a little more.
IFS 3rds run a little more.

I also only use solid spacers when available.

Sorry, bro. I don't ship to Canada. Check out Trail-Gear Canada
http://www.trail-gear.ca/default.cfm...TOKEN=34301910

The rear locker you are talking about is an Elocker from a Tacoma or 4runner from 96-04

I am talking about a locking differential in the axle, not manual locking hubs like on the front. Manual locking hubs in the rear isn't a good thing.

Do a search on what a locking differential is, and what is good/bad about them.
