Finally: 1st gen 4runner corner panel protection!

We just got this prototype in today.

Addicted Offroad has finally done it and are now offering our "Straight Jacket" rear corner panel protection for 1st Generation 4runners(patent pending). Other models to come shortly as well!

These panels are made from 3/16" cold roll steel and are press bent to conform to the body as tightly as possible. Each panel will be drilled and countersunk for 8-1/4" allen head bolts. Powder coating is also available at additional cost. The lower end folds under to the pinch weld to add strength and protection. For those of you who don't want to bob your 4runner, but don't want it beat to hell either, this is the product for you!

We are offering an introductory price of $249/set for unfinished steel. Add $35 for powder coating in a semi-gloss black.

These panels will be in full production within the next 2-3 weeks.

Taking pre-orders now. Reserve your set today!

What's your design for attaching these panels to the vehicle? What will happen when you take them off? (i.e. how will the vehicle look?)

TIA

You will have to drill eight 1/4" holes into the tub. You can run a bead of silicone on the top and sides to keep the elements out. They are designed to come off if you need to. You can simply unbolt them and repaint as needed and then just re-install.

Well, here are the corner panel protection mounted on a rig at the shop. The black on white is mainly for contrast. We can powdercoat for many different colors. These are a Hammered tone gloss black.

Okay, we are ready for full production on these. But, we want to get a few orders in to ensure our return on these.

$249/pr and they should be ready to ship next week. Get your orders in now!
