Can you go more into depth about what you ground down on the inside of the rotor? Pictures? Looks like a great no nonsense solution -very interested

i put the rotor in a vise and started grinding out the center with a 4.5" angle grinder.
when i ground out enough to fit on the back side of the axle shaft, i used a flep disc to clean it up.

Payment sent . I am stoked about getting rid of my bulky drums. Besides that, the damn backing plates and everything is rusted/corroded to the point of no return. Did you mention which bolts to use? Grade 5 I heard have a better "shearing load rating "vs grade 8. Obviously I know grade 8 is stronger for other purposes, but what do you run?

do the center of the taco rotors have to be machined out to fit the rear axle shaft?

nope, but the axle shaft has to be turned down to fit inside of the rotor.
