Warn M8000 mounting bolt sizes?

I recently bought a Warn Winch from a fellow YT'er but the mounting bolts were not included. So I would like to know what size bolts this thing needs. It will be installed in a TJM T-17.
Any help would be great!

My suggestion...contact WARN directly or search their site and you should find exactly what is supposed to be included...not just guesses or opinion.

If I remember right they used a square (4 sided) nut on the winch side of the bumper. I don't remember the size for sure, may have been 3/8 inch.

I found it in my installation instructions. "3/8 x 1 1/4 grade 5 hex head capscrews, lockwashers and square nuts for a 3-16" to 1/4" thick mounting plate. (Cavities have been provided in the drum supports for the square nuts) " The square nuts are because you can't get a wrench on them.

For mounting feet forward on the TJM T-17 you will need a little longer bolts for the 2 bolts that go through the fairlead, Warn says to use "3/8-16 x 1 1/2 grade 5 hex head capscrews with lockwashers through the fairlead" I upgraded my bolts here to grade 8 when I did my install. I always go with grade 8 so I can torque them tighter.

I think I had to go w/ 1.5" bolts when I mounted my XD9000:

I used flat head allen bolts to get a nice clean face on the bumper, countersinking the holes for the bolt heads.
