Question TRD abs and rear diff lock light??

Hey, my rear diff lock and abs light stays lit. When I push my diff lock button the light flashes. I can't find a fuse blown or anything. Where do I start?

thanks,
jon

Well, the ABS light comes on whenever ABS is disabled, and that happens when the diff lock is engaged or (I think) in 4-low. My first guess is that the diff is stuck in the locked position, or the computer thinks it is (when it's locked, a certain wire gets a ground signal...if this wire is shorted somewhere, the computer will think the diff is locked). Probably a loose or shorted wire. Check the harness going to the rear diff to make sure it's secure. If you unplug that harness, the ground signal couldn't possibly be coming from the diff anymore, so if your problem stays the same, it's somewhere in the wiring.

Have you used the diff lock much, and when did the problem start?
