Yup, front and rear 4x4 axles use 8" thirds. Both interchangeable.

A quick search would tell you the answer, but in short if they are both 8" 3rds, tehn yes, they will swap front to rear for the most part.

thanks guys i tried to search i promise i couldnt find anything on third members ... appreciate the info. do you think the swap would be worth it going from 4.10 to 4.38... im running stock axles with 35's right now not much power ...

I think it would still be weak. 5.29 are what I'm reading for 35's

Any more gear you can put behind it is better than nothing. If you have to buy the 4.38's I wouldn't bother, but I you have them laying around I would do it. I would recommend waiting and finding some 5.29's though.

if you have the gears laying around go for it... if your going to buy it, save your penneis and get 5.29s.
