OME vs. pucks and blocks

Hey guys I have a buddy who can't decide on a suspension lift... He is looking at either the OME or just a simple puck and block system.. What are the positives and or negatives of both..? 2006 tacoma.

Just my thought on this, but blocks don't do much more than move your differential further from the body, which is a suspension lift, but as far as providing performance, strength, reliability and improving the actual ride of the vehicle, a block lift won't due much. though I don't have either of these two things done to my truck, everything I've read says the OME is a great lift for what you're paying, but I do think it's a bit pricey overall. The blocks, like I said, give you the lift, but don't do a whole lot in terms of high end suspension performance. Think of it as the same shesity stock leafs, only a few inches taller. Hope that helps!

OME is worth the cost. Never heard anything bad about this suspension kit.

Blocks are for street cruisers that about it, plus block in the rear will give you more axle twist. If it a off roading rig spend the $$$ for something proper it will be well worth it.
