my 90 sport 2wd 4x4 needs some clearance

I dont remember if a posted anything about my lil truck when i first got it, but I'm for the most part done with my swap. 1990 toyo pickup sport 2wd. Doner 1989 toyo pickup 4x4. Swaped my body and motor to the 89 4x4. swaped in a good 5speed over last weekend b/c the one i had turned up to be bad. I put a set on 31/10.5/15 mudder tires on and it just barly rubs the front air dam. Any ideas on how to make the truck clear the tires with out dumping $1,000 for a lift? I dont know much about useing the bars to lift, i know i have a set of blocks laying around... any idea are welcome.

If it's just a bit of rub at full turn, I wouldn't worry about it.

The cheapest way to fix the rubbing is going to be wheel spacers- Marlin's got some for $79 a pair. Or you could go with a different backspace on your rims.

Search around, tire size questions have been covered many, many times here and other boards.

well see thats just it. it wont rub at full turn either way. it's just rubs on that air peice that mounted to the bumber on the front. not to be a pain. i just dont know how to adjust the torsion bars to make it somewhat higher in the front. it looks like to me if you mess with the bolt it could only lower it. it's stock hight.

i would say the best way is to just get a small body lift and/or trim the front air dam

the torsion bar bolts will lift when you tighten and drop when you loosen them.....look at the bolts, that should be pretty clear.
