I got a trailmaster kit... pix

HEHEHEHEEHEHEHH

Looks like I took a dump in the back of my truck.

This will be going on sometime next week after I clean it up and get some missing bolts. Im aiming for 5" of overall suspension lift.

My OME springs and cornfeds will be for sale most likely soon if anyone is interested, PM me.

Hehe, yah, its gonna be fun.

Yes -- I got it from the bentup shop. They cut it off of a guy who just did a SAS on his Taco.

The black tray in th eback of my truck is sweet. I go surfing a lot, so thats the best part because I dont get salt water and sand everywhere. Plus, It sa good oil catcher too!! hehe.

I got gabriel struts coming in the mail so it should beef it up a little bit hopefully. Ive heard not so good things about these kits, but, I just wanted something to screw around with so I got it cheap. I'd personally get a Tuff country lift or Fabtech if you have the money.

True... you can build these kits up though. Im putting 2wd coils in the front so I keep it lower and have more downtravel.

As for the rear, I will be putting some 2" cornfed spacers on my OME springs. Hopefully give me about 5.5" of lift. Once I gather enough money I'll be doing a 5" leaf swap for stability and hopefully a little bit more flex. After that then I'll save up for a SAS loll.

what kind of cargo liner is that? I've been looking for something a little beefier than the rubber ones.

This will hopefully be going in next Saturday. I just have to make sure I have ALL the parts and all the tools before I go at it. I have about 8 things coming in the mail lol.

Steve told me he would be able to make a 5" drop-bar so that will be killer. Im going to see how the ride is, and if its too loose and weird I'll be definetly doing a leaf spring swap in the rear.

Im going to be using 2wd coils to hopefully keep it nice and flexy up front. I want to have the most travel I can. The TM kit uses a big ol spacer on top of the pack and eliminates the upper ball joint. I would like to stay as low as possible, so I might actually get the 6" spacer cut to about 4" and have a 4" trailmaster lift with my CV's at complete stock angle. Hope this works

I'll take some pictures of where I am at tomorrow. I got all that crap off from the crossmembers and cleaned it up. Its basicalyl ready to install.

If anyone wants a stock front diff, let me know. I'll let it go for super cheap.

Its a Toyota cargo liner. It came with my truck but I could only imagine that its like $1,000,000 at the dealership.

You may not want a 5" drop bracket for your panhard, you want the bar to be horizontal exactly in the middle of the wheel travel. So once you get the rear done, cycle the suspension to see how many inches it gets, then cycle it to the exact middle and then measure how much longer the panhard mount needs to be to place the bar horizontal there. In most cases your truck will not sit at ride-height exactly 1/2 way through it's travel (but it will be close). It might be only like 3.5 or 4" off not 5".

Let me know if you need help, also hit me up to borrow the TC BJ press tool.

That makes sense, never thought about it that way. Kinda like measure twice and cut once. I used to work for the state, we used do things over and over untill we got it right. Big budget we dont need to measure, we will eventually do it right.

Hey Sean ... yeah, I guess I meant a panhard bar for 5" of lift.. which will probably be around 3.5-4" of actual "drop".

But it makes sense ! I'll be calling you either today or tomorrow

Yeah, Im gonna take a lot of pix during the install hopefully. But, I can never get myself to take my dirty-ass greasy hands to pick up my nice clean digi cam... maybe I'll wrap the camera in plastic hehe

Still waiting for like 5 parts in the mail. Hopefulyl they get here by Friday.
